Inspire, enable, and motivate women to become agents of change in the Charlotte region through philanthropy, leadership, volunteerism, and mentoring. Engage the power, wisdom and generosity of these women to create a stronger community for today and future generations.

Your Role With Women United
Support
As a supporter, you’ll be part of a diverse sisterhood of like-minded philanthropic women, participating in volunteer opportunities and networking experiences with the goal of helping ALICE (ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constraints, Employed) families rise. ALICE represents the growing number of families who are unable to afford the basics of housing, childcare, food, transportation, health care, and technology.
- Your annual United Way investment of $1,000 or more qualifies you for membership in Women United.
- Step Up Program is designed to allow women at the start of their careers to join Women United in stages over three years:
- Year 1 – $500 (immediately recognized as a Women United member)
- Year 2 – $750 (continued recognition as a Women United member)
- Year 3 – $1,000 (recognized as a member and Community Leader Giver)
