How Partnerships Are Helping Families Stay Housed in Greater Charlotte

At United Way of Greater Charlotte, we know lasting community impact happens through strong partnerships, meaningful conversations, and a shared commitment to supporting families across our region.

Recently, Jamese Ivy, Senior Vice President and Chief Impact Officer, and Delan Fulgham, Senior Manager of Regional Philanthropy for Union and Anson Counties, connected with Crisis Assistance Ministry of Union and Anson County for a meaningful conversation focused on housing stability, eviction prevention, and supporting hardworking families across Union and Anson counties.

Across our community, many families continue to face difficult financial challenges that can threaten their housing stability. One unexpected expense, medical emergency, or missed paycheck can place a household at risk of eviction or long-term hardship. Organizations like Crisis Assistance Ministry of Union and Anson County play a critical role in helping neighbors navigate those moments while creating pathways toward long-term stability.

These conversations are an important reminder that real change happens when organizations work together, share resources, and stay rooted in community needs. Collaboration allows us to better understand the barriers families face and identify solutions that create lasting impact.

At United Way of Greater Charlotte, we believe stable housing is deeply connected to economic mobility and overall community well-being. When families are able to remain safely housed, they are better positioned to build stronger futures for themselves and their children.

We are thankful for partners like Crisis Assistance Ministry of Union and Anson County and for every opportunity to work together in support of our community.
