United Way works every day to give people in our community the tools and resources they need to be successful in their homes, businesses and neighborhoods.

 

Through the United Way Learning Network, we offer workshops and training events to help volunteers, grassroots nonprofits and community members learn essential skills to maximize their impact.

 

Opportunities have included a Nonprofit 101 session to help small organizations increase knowledge and capacity; a Board Training professional development course targeting future community leaders; and in-depth workshops covering topics like building a trauma-informed organization, advancing a racial equity organizational framework and developing two-generation interventions and partnerships.

Volunteerism is one of the ways United Way brings people together to solve local challenges and build a stronger community. When you volunteer with us, you’ll be sharing your time and talents with those who need it most.
