Women United Impact Ornament

Create your own holiday ornaments like the ones used at the Women United Gift of Giving Breakfast.

 

Here’s what you will need to get started.

 

Materials Needed:

1. Tinsel (your choice of color)
2. Ribbon (your choice of color)
   • 1/4 in. x 10 yd.
3. Round Plastic Ornaments
   • 63″ x 2.63″ x 3″
4. Paper Message
   • 5″ x 3″–size can be altered to fit your content

 

How To:

Step 1:

Take strands of tinsel and begin to fill the ornament, you don’t need much for this to appear full.

Step 2:

Roll your paper message up tightly into a scroll. You will want to roll this tight to ensure it fits into the ornament easily.

Step 3:

Tie a ribbon around the rolled message to ensure it stays wrapped up. Afterwards, this ribbon can be used to hang the ornament from the tree!

Step 4:

Take the top of the ornament and pinch the prongs so you can slide the scroll over them, as they expand they will safely hold the message to the top.

 

Step 5:

Place the top of the ornament back on, while inserting the scroll inside. We pinched the sides of the top around the opening of the ornament to ensure it wouldn’t detach.
