Did you know that Publix is United Way’s 3rd largest donor worldwide?

 

Despite being in only six states, Publix contributed a staggering $62 million to United Way through their most recent campaign.

Here in the Charlotte region, their impact similarly surpasses their footprint – at only 11 stores open (so far) within this United Way’s five-county area, they’re already one of our top 10 donors, and closing in fast on the top 5!

 

As our way applauding Publix’s incredible embrace of United Way locally, our team recently participated in Publix Appreciation Day, visiting each store and the local corporate office to thank all of their employees in person.
